The Sound Health Research Institute, Inc. (SHRI) was founded June 1, 1998 to study the effects of sound energy on the human system. Many healers are now developing energetic means of frequency support for the whole person, regarding everything from fractured bones to chronic conditions to emotional disorders and aging.

One such researcher, however, stands above the rest. She is Sharry Edwards, and she has spent much of her life developing the science of Human BioAcoustics, which is the science that studies the interaction between Sound and Life, under the fundamental law: hf = mc² Footnote

Each of us consists of a unique harmonic of frequencies. When those frequencies become unbalanced, we may develop corresponding issues. This research has developed into a system that both analyzes an individual's energetic status and helps restore that being to wholeness, nourishing with non-invasive sound frequency. Everything is energy. Feeding the appropriate energy frequencies supports normal structure and function.

The public has been aware of this research for over a decade. At the 1998 BioAcoustics Conference, we watched a nineteen year old tetraplegic with whom Ms. Edwards works stand up from his wheelchair and take his first two steps. He can now also "sign" with his formerly useless hands. We are certain he will make it all the way back. We have met people who "used to be dying" from emphysema. They are feeling better now and experiencing lung tissue regrowth using sound frequency. We have witnessed sound frequency's use in determining nutritional deficiencies, toxic overloads, hormonal imbalances and strained muscles. All were measured and rebalanced with frequency.

Sharry Edwards is an independent researcher also associated with Hocking College in Albany, Ohio, where credit is given for studying her work. Her classes are taught at Sound Health Alternatives. The Sound Health Research Institute is an independent entity, formed to receive grants to support BioAcoustics research. Current research is developing harmonics for regenerating skin, bone, and nerve tissue. The Institute is involved in studying various aspects of BioAcoustics, including the Frequencies of Immortality, Immortal Freq and Evaluation and Detoxification with Sound, Sound Detox. Ms Edwards is presently studying what may prove to be age-reversal harmonics as well as frequencies dealing with genetic problems. She is an intuitive, part Native American, and a genius. Human BioAcoustic Conferences have been held during the summer and winter in rural SE Ohio and nearby locations since 1995. SHRI has participated in the conferences since 1998.  These conferences are a wonderful opportunity for the most active Human BioAcoustics Researchers to meet, compare notes and learn about the latest advances in theory and practice from the founder of Human BioAcoustics, Sharry Edwards, M.Ed.

SHRI has been established and organized as a US Code Section 501(c)(3) tax-deductible entity to independently support BioAcoustics. It was granted an Exemption Letter on February 11, 2000. The Exempt Organization ID Number is 22-3611737. This approval provides the means for Sound Health Research to accept bequests, donations and grants; to provide services and equipment to those with financial need; and to work with other educational and government programs. The Institute is a New Jersey not for profit corporation. Bequests to the Institute may be stated in the Will as follows:

Says Sharry Edwards:

"In recent years the studies conducted by BioAcoustic researchers have progressed in various directions in an attempt to isolate and understand the foundation, framework, potential and limitations of the patterns being found. There were no standards of research on this subject from which to gather even a modicum of insight. The National Health Institute suggested that "best case scenarios" would be the most appropriate classification of study and that methodology has been followed for subsequent research.

"The idea that vocal analysis, as a holographic representation of the body, could be used to detect states of health is one of the most important discoveries of this century. Scientists have for years tried to glean a myriad of facts from the body using expensive and highly technical equipment.

"MD's report that 120,000 deaths occur each year because of the inappropriate mixing of medications due to isolated diagnostic and treatment. Vocal analysis offers a holistic, synthesizing methodology that will enable the medical practitioner to not only assess the issues of the body but to initiate an individuated program to effect the reversal of those issues."

According to Ms. Edwards, Vocal Analysis can evaluate where other methods may give mistaken diagnosis or fail to reveal the energetic roots of any particular involvement:

• Save millions of dollars in unnecessary medical tests.
• Alleviate the trauma of being told, "It's all in your head."
• Alleviate the need for intrusive, sometimes dangerous tests.
• Save considerable time in finding the root cause of the issue.
• Help reverse the frequency patterns of disease more efficiently.
• Help chart and identify the interactive patterns of the body.
• Help identify issues that have no definite patterns, such as fibro-myalgia or chronic fatigue.
• Help identify and direct an issue toward the solution before it becomes a larger problem.
• Allow monitoring to be done at long distance, once a pattern has been established.
• Allow inexpensive monitoring for the chemical elements of the body, which will be an incredible advantage to the supplement industry.

[The actual name or symptoms of a "disease" are not important to this system, which is not concerned with the diagnosis of disease, but rather with the energetic balance of the whole system, on a structural and functional level.]

Ms Edwards continues, "God and Science agree. Many religions state that, "In the beginning was the word". Words are made of sound and sound is frequency. Science believes that all matter is based on the atom, the nucleus of which is frequency. Frequency is sound, aroma, shape, heat, color, light, etc. Frequency is all things. Everything, at its most common denominator, is made of frequency."

"The Upper Paleolithic [from 30,000 BC] was also the first time that evidence of music appears. Simple flutes carved from the long bones of animals have been found... [H]ow... [were] these instruments... used[?]... [S]everal cave sites provide... some indication of their possible context. [R]esearchers were puzzled by simple blobs of paint smeared in isolation at certain points of the inner recesses of caves where art was found. They assumed that they were some sort of trail-mark... until they discovered that every point so marked was a resonance point for sound. With sophisticated equipment they reproduced the frequencies characteristic of the surviving bone flutes and found that at each point a harmonic resonance was produced. Music, which can certainly be magical in its transformation of the human spirit... may have been born as an early way to contact the spirit world, which answered back at those Paleolithic listening posts in the depths of dark caves."
